A scavenger hunt will help guide children through the buildings as they discover some of the farms treasures.

• Wash clothes on a wash board and hang them on the clothes line to dry.
• Milk a wooden cow with a ‘milkable udder’.
• Gather eggs from nesting boxes on the outside of the chicken house.
• Pull a horse drawn plow.
• Grind corn for the chickens.
• Drill holes with a hand drill.
• Throw irrigation tubes and learn about siphons.
• Lift a heavy bucket with a pulley.
• Learn about the work on a farm in each season at our interactive exhibit called “A Farmer Works All Year”
• Small children can play at the ‘hands on farm station’.
