We have completed our fourteenth season, and over 1000 visitors a year using a port-a-potty and hand washing station. The port-a-potty has been satisfactory to meet this need, but our big need is to meet County requirements by completing a restroom facility. The restroom would allow us to meet our goals:
Additionally, having restroom facilities would greatly enhance our ability to generate more income.
The approximate cost for this project will be $70,000. Some of the services have all ready been donated.
We have raised $6,875 to date and are working on other donor possibilities.
We truly appreciate your interest and support for this project. Every gift is important to us. For all contributions of $50 or more your name will be recognized on our supporters list. Gifts of $250 or more will receive a business card size ad in our newsletter. Gifts of $1000 or more will receive advertisement in our main entrance building. Our newsletter goes out to over 600 people in and around our community and the museum has served over 1000 visitors annually.
Your one time gift would enable us to fulfill our mission to preserve the architecture and artifacts of the Bee Farm while educating the public about farming life and methods past and present. The farming history of northern Colorado will be shared with others in a traditional, engaging, and authentic way.
