Looking forward to Spring 01/19/2012
We are starting to think about the spring clean up from the wind and dust, so we will be ready to open. The wind has been blowing corn leaves around from the surrounding fields. Add Comment Winter Activities 12/27/2011

The gardan is almost put to bed for the winter. Base Camp is bringing 3 groups of children this Thursday. It is the last big group that is scheduled for this season. Things do not slow down much though, as we need to get our fundraising letter mailed soon, and begin working on improvements for next season. Animals 09/24/2011
We had to sale the sheep this week. The ram was living up to his name and raming into the shed. The little beef steer got his leg hurt, so he is taking it easy and slowly getting better. Wellington Won! 09/24/2011

In spite of a brief shower the baseball game was enjoyed by all that attended. Thank you to the jazz group and the Nash car owners that added to the day. Baseball Game 09/13/2011
Our Vintage Baseball Game is this Saturday at 1:30. Please come for the day and enjoy all the activities. All of the details are on the events page. Animal Update 08/27/2011
The pullets (young hens) have started laying eggs. They are small, about half as big as a regular egg, but they will get larger as the hens get older. It is time to start weaning Coco, the Jersey steer. He has been getting milk replacer twice a day, but I have stopped the evening feeding. He will just get milk in the mornings for a few more weeks, and then he will just get hay and grain. Oreo, the pig, has been suffering from the heat. We hooked up a water mister to keep him cool and he is doing better. Newsletter 08/25/2011
