We have been busy. March 18 we bought 4 baby chicks. They are growing and getting their feathers. March 21 our new cocoa arrived. He is a 6 week old Jersey steer. He is drinking from a bucket and eating some grain. He likes to suck your fingers. Very fun!
We have sheared our own sheep. They don't look to bad for amatures. We do have a greater respect for sheep shearers. A good shearer can do a sheep in less than two minutes, it took us more than two hours.
We had three pre-school groups this week. It was a little cool and windy, but they enjoyed it.
I am sorry to announce that the Boltz Middle School Jazz Band will not be able to come to our Event this Sat May 7th, due to a scheduling conflict. But we do have a musical quartet coming that should be a lot of fun.
