We are beginning to slow down with only one more group scheduled. But there is still time for you to come before the end of the month.
The day went very well. We had a good turn out of over 200 people. Thank you to all our presenters and vendors for making it a successful day.

It has been a busy summer with many Friday and Saturday visitors and several groups during the week. The animals are all growing and doing well. We plan to get the summer newsletter out in the next couple of weeks, and are preparing for the Pioneer Living Day on September 27.
We just mailed our fall fundraising newsletter. Other projects include continuing to work on an agricultural timeline and doing an inventory of the cataloged items.
The snow and rain have greened things up and the museum is open and ready for your visit. Muffins and Bisquit (the lambs) are doing fine, and our new Cocoa (a little Jersey heifer) is learning to be lead around. We have six Molten Java chickens along with the four Buff Orpington chicks. Come check them out.
We are getting a wonderful Spring snow storm. It has been very dry, so the moisture is very welcome. It is slowing down the process of getting things cleaned up and ready to open, but still should be ready for the two teacher open houses April 25 and 27. The spring newsletter is ready to mail and the Special Events are being planned.
We got four baby chicks last week and the turkeys should arrive tomorrow. They will join the baby calf that is about a month old. We are working with an intern from Colorado State University this winter. One project is helping with some grant writing for the restroom funding. She is also writing a children's tour guide and working on an agricultural history time line.
